The Best Strategies to Use as the Impostor in Among Us
Because We All Want to Successfully Kill Our Friends
If you haven’t heard of the game Among Us, here’s a quick synopsis:
Among Us is a video game playable on PC or mobile, where you are either a Crewmate or an Impostor. The Crewmates are fixing the ship as fast as they can and trying to find the Impostor. As that is happening, the Impostor is killing the Crewmates and sabotaging different areas of the ship.
When a dead body is found or when someone calls a meeting, the party discusses what they saw. After some accusations, players vote or abstain. Then if there are enough votes cast on someone, that player is tossed out into the cold vacuum of outer space.
If you have ever played the card game Bang! or The Resistance, then it’s very similar to those. The main difference is the theme and a few game mechanics, which takes place on a Space Ship.
After playing it a fair bit in the last week, I’ve compiled a few tips and tricks to help you win as the Impostor. I’ve seen some hilariously clever tactics and discovered my own that I decided to share.
