I think a lot of people don't realize that to make 6 figures takes a lot of work and you have to hire people to help you will inevitably eats into your income.

It's a lofty and unnecessary goal. If I made 40-60k freelancing full time I would be happy. There's no reason everyone has to grow and sell their own courses.
