Absolutely! I think the goal of this piece is for people to be charging rates worth their time and your inherent value at the low end is fairly intuitive. For example, working for $5 an hour is unrealistic unless you can actually live off that. Some people can, but many can’t.

Obviously, you’ll need to know specifically what value you’re providing and what the typical rate is, but that’s a difficult question to answer without referring to a specific service. My advice here is trying to cover a broader audience. I see too often many beginners charging drastically lower than even market value for all sorts of things!
