A trope is just a narrative in portrayed in our media, not real life and I think a few people are miscontruing that when they read it.

You can absolutely be a good husband and identify as such, but as I said as the end: YOU'RE not the problem. The "Wife Guys" who are using their wife as a shield from bad behaviour are a problem. They are good husbands to cover their bad behaviour.

Nice guys is the same, there are nice men out there, but the ones who act entitled to women because of their niceness are toxic.
